Ann Perry's Home

You are in for a real treat this Sunday morning as I'm taking you to Ann Perry's beautiful home.  I've featured her place many times on my other blog and I've done several posts there on her Open Houses at her shop, The Tin Rabbit.

It was a real treat to get to visit with her yesterday.  I don't know how I forgot my camera because I'd been looking forward to visiting her all week.  The pictures I took were with my phone and while they weren't the best you can still see how fabulous her place is.  I also wanted to mention she's in the Heritage Antique Mall in Lufkin and I found several treasures with her there too.

I hope you enjoy her gorgeous home:

From the moment you walk into her home, there's just such a calmness.

Of course her decorating skills and the great eye she has for finding things, just makes you want to soak it all, you just don't know where to start.  So I just stand there letting my eye wander.

I love the plantation shutters she has sprinkled all over her home.  She says they were a recent find and even put some in her shop.  I believe she said they all sold the first week.

Her beautiful slipcovered chair makes you want to stay a while.

All her vignette's she's created are always so inviting.

Look at this beautiful dress form.  A friend brought it back for her from Paris.

Now look at this sofa.

Can you tell what she's done to it.

No, she didn't recently reupholster it, she painted it.  Isn't it fabulous!

I love all the architectural items she finds for her home.  They are great finds.

Here's another corner of her living room.  See her new line of pillows.  The great signature pillows that Ann has featured for many years can always be found at her sales.

I'm even the happy recipient of one of her wonderful pocket pillows that she gifted me with a while back.

She opens her shop several times a year for fabulous sales.  I'm sure she'll post about her next sale or if you can't wait you can always check out her things at the Heritage Antique Mall in Lufkin.

Happy Sunday!!

Carola, Ann is doing well. She said she's so busy she hardly ever has time to post. That's why I thought it would be fun to show you her home since she hadn't in a while. Ann truly is an inspirational and sweet person. Thanks to all for stopping by.
