Magnolia Pearl: A Piece of Heaven

Imagine for a moment that when you first wake up, grab your cup of coffee and head out to the porch to listen to the birds singing, the wind blowing, and there's not another house as far as the eye can see:

The wind chimes are blowing and all you can hear are the birds singing.

You decide to head out to the garden to see how your hard work is paying off:

All the flowers are in full bloom:

And you can't decide if you want to take a bike ride on your 38 acres or if you just want to sit here and just enjoy your day:

I mean what's the rush, it's not like you have to be in any hurry to get anywhere.

You turn and this view hits you:

The tree's are in full bloom too.

Then you turn and you are blown away from this view:

You decide to head back inside to enjoy the beauty that awaits you there too:

But then your eye catches the porch and you decide it's way to early to retreat inside because this awaits you:

Yes life is good living on the Magnolia Pearl Ranch:

This piece of heaven can be yours.  It's not a dream, make it happen, you only live once.

See dreams do come true.

Ann's Perry's Shop

Has it really been two months since I posted on this blog, wow, where has the time flown.  I had the priviledge of attending Ann Perry's Open House a few weeks ago and am still in awe of it.  Seeing all the pretties she had in my pictures made me realize there were several things my eyes glazed over because I didn't remember seeing them until I saw the pictures again.  Her shop had many great things to buy and then she had several outside vendor friends that were there this time and so that doubled the amount of goodness to be seen.

Here's what she had inside her shop, The Tin Rabbit:

This was the first display that caught your eye as you walked in.

Loved the paper garland and of course loved it all.

Dream, well really Dreamy was how to best describe not only her shop but home.

This trio of gold mirrors were just gorgeous.

Loved the little stockings she had sprinkled all around the shop.

Of course loved this mirror, still kicking myself for not buying it!

More pretties, including the porch that had things for sale.

I'm now the proud owner of the letter "C".

Hope you enjoyed the tour of Ann's shop, The Tin Rabbit.  If you didn't get to go this time you should watch for her next open house, probably in the Spring.

She also has a booth in Heritage Antiques Shop in Lufkin.

The big Antique Shows in Warrenton, Round Top, and surrounding towns are starting next week, but I bet you could find vendors out this weekend to start shopping.  Just remember that not all shows open on the same day.

Are you going.  If you don't go to any other show, you need to at least go to the Marburger Farm Show.  See ya on the junkin trail.

Let's Head to Austin

It's time for another City Wide Garage Sale in Austin Tx.  Want to go, you'll find lots of great things at this show.

Like these things:

I'm sure you'll find Industrial things here, especially in Charyl Coleman's booth.  She'll be back this month and

so will Mickey and Brandy:

You never know what you'll find with them.  I always find a treasure or two

And...we'll be there with a mixture of things, a lot of white, some black, and industrial:

You might find something like the items above,

who knows what we'll bring so you'll just have to come and see.
