If you are anywhere near Austin Texas this weekend you should check out the City Wide Garage Sale. It's not really a garage sale, it's an indoor venue that allows vendors to sell vintage items. It runs Saturday and Sunday and there is early buying available on Saturday morning. You usually can find over 50 vendors under one roof selling anything from modern, country, primitive, industrial and just about anything you are looking for. why not head out to South Congress and check out them out.
Then, have lunch at Guero's:
They have really good food and a variety to choose from. It can be a fun day shopping inside the air conditioned buildings and beating the Texas Heat. Maybe I'll see you there.
